Landscapes

Five new landscapes were made for the 2nd release: a US Canyon bridge, a grand central station and a winter resort. The metropolis and small village are now also available in night view. Each of them allows a number of tracks in different positions.

Each landscape has been conceived to allow people moving about, to allow things happening to them, other vehicles, etc.

One user requested more wildlife (pigeons, seagulls, etc) in the landscapes. As if we knew, there actually is some wildlife hidden in the various landscapes, but if you like to see more and if you know how to design & program in Flash, please send in your suggestions.

Our current list of landscapes is:

A US Canyon with 2 bridges, showing how wonderful nature is

A large central station, where all the trains stop and people change over, or start their journey

a winter resort, where only regional trains make a stop, where people come to unwind

A metropolis style large city, both in daylight and night time, each version with his own special effects

a small village in the hills, both in daylight and night time, each version with his own special effects

an industrial area, which combines all the various LR disciplines in one overview: the activities of LR Marine (the ships), LR Oil & Gas (refinery, oil rigs), LR Rail (the trains), LR QA (all processes run smoothly), LR Transportation, BSL (mobility), and above all, our “Life Matters” objective, considering all the people involved.

The default setting will change the landscapes regularly. You can set it to stay with one of your choice.
