For the 2nd release, we added trains from the Netherlands (one enthusiast supplied us 190 modern & historic trains! Thank you once again), France, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Italy. For other screensavers, hundreds if not thousands of trains are available. It is not possible for us to convert these, so we have to rely on enthusiasts to help us….or rely on customers who will provide their trains to be seen by all.

Most landscapes allow a mix of passenger rail, freight traffic, urban rail and maintenance trains.
Of course we are neutral to any particular manufacturer or operator, and have aimed to show a fair spread of each one. Please provide us with pictures of manufacturer X, if he is not yet represented, ideally in customer colours.
Similarly, we aim to reflect both the ever growing variety of operators within a country, as well as the one-off specials some operators make. Over time, it therefore could happen, one train type will pass by in different colour settings.
The screensaver has a period setting, allowing for trains of a certain period to be displayed (see also era’s). Currently we have trains which you can see today. For those who prefer to see historic trains only, simply select either the trains themselves, or the era you want to see.

The screensaver recognises the resolution of the train provided. Lower resolution trains will automatically run in the background only, the higher resolution trains will run on all tracks.
The screensaver has been designed to regularly search for updates, and it will ask you if you want them downloaded.
